VORTEXT is a participatory new media project that uses special software to create a unique experience. It invites everyone to participate in an artistic game with literary language. By transforming words into spiralling, living forms, it turns a given text into something felt, shared and alive. Through limitless speed, shape and typeface settings, users can create unique text spirals that speak emotionally to their surroundings.
But the true magic of VORTEXT rests in its interactivity. Casual passers-by and visitors alike will encounter various installations throughout Kutná Hora. The seven locations have been carefully selected with a view to including educational and artistic institutions (GASK, the Town Theatre, the Jan Palach Primary School) and local creative venues (a café, creative studios), both in the old town and in Kutná Hora’s suburbs.
