GASK SHOP – our gift tips

At the GASK gallery shop, you can choose from a wide range of original GASK gift items. New additions include mugs by Thun for the permanent exhibition Through the Labyrinth and the monograph Ticho ateliéru (The Silence of the Studio), published by the Čestmír Vančura Foundation and the Václav Chad Gallery in conjunction with the exhibition Field of Presence by Zlín artist Svatopluk Slovenčík, plus merchandise related to the exhibitions Tereza and the Giardino, The Man in the Background 2012–2015 and Basic Education.

The current GASK exhibition Tereza and the Giardino is accompanied by limited-edition glasses featuring hand-engraved motifs by Tereza Brichtová. The collector’s edition includes 6 pieces of each version. The glasses were originally made by the Egermann glass works from Nový Bor, which closed down this year. They were purchased as part of the sale of the company’s final remaining inventory. Brichtová’s designs were cut into the red-coloured glasses by engraver Jára Šára of Nový Bor. The glasses may be purchased at the GASK shop or onlineHERE. We also have beautiful original prints by Tereza Brichtová.

Visitors to the exhibition The Man in the Background 2012–2015 can take home a souvenir in the form of the graphic novel Rozvědčík (Secret Agent), which takes a behind-the-scenes look at important historical events and forms one of the main themes in the exhibition and the artist’s graphic works.

For the exhibition Basic Education, the gallery offers postcards, a book, posters and small catalogues.

We still have gift items inspired by the past exhibitions Disegno Interno and Stanislav Podhrázský and Friends, slippers from the local Sázavan company, crayons and pencils from KOH-I-NOOR and much more.

You can also find fashions, jewellery and accessories by leading Czech designers. And at the gallery’s BOOK SHOP, you can purchase literature relating to art and other areas, exhibition catalogues, children’s books, games, notebooks, photo albums or diaries.

Artistic watercolour pencils, Mondeluz, from KOH-I-NOOR. Can be used to draw like “normal” coloured pencils, but if you apply water with a brush, the colours bleed and make the image look like a watercolour painting. CZK 270
