Summer with GASK

Summer is here! We are open on 5th as well as 6th of July, so come and spend your day off at our gallery!

You can visit DISEGNO INTERNO, an exhibition by the leading Czech surrealists Eva and Jan Švankmajer, V. K. Novák’s Still in Motion, Martina Skala’s Voyage, Jiří Straka’s Silence and ABOUT YOU – Young Women Painters and Sculptors. In addition, we exhibit a facsimile of the Kutná Hora illumination, this time in the Projectroom on the gallery’s ground floor. Since spring, a new joint ticket for three local museums and galleries (GASK, the Czech Museum of Silver and the Vlašský dvůr/Italian Court) came into effect. This ticket, titled Together… For the Kutná Hora Illumination, provides admission to exhibitions related to the Kutná Hora illumination. We would like to invite you to a new permament exhibition Through the Labyrinth since the end 30th of June. Opening takes place on 29th of July, 4 p.m.

You can also relax and take some time out at the GASK café, where you can enjoy choice coffees, local lemonade, excellent cakes and other refreshments. Also worth a visit is the outdoor exhibition Open-air GASK, which has recently been expanded with the addition of a set of sculptures by Jan Hendrych. The gallery has acquired several of this artist’s works in recent years, and some of them will be included in the new permanent exhibition opening in late June.
