SPLASH transports you to a forgotten swimming pool, where four older gentlemen set out to rediscover joy and freedom. Tired of their daily routine, they have lost the ability to notice minor miracles around and within themselves. But in this place more reminiscent of a modern oasis than a lost relic, they discover something unexpected. Hidden away in a mysterious shower stall and guarded by a strange woman is a Fountain of Youth with the power to turn back time.

The performance explores the relationship between the body and mind of youth. Jumping on a teeterboard represents the fun and freedom that once were taken for grant. Water and acrobatics are key to going back in time, to when every adventure was an opportunity for joy. What can happen when we rediscover our faith in the magic and energy that still slumber within us?

SPLASH is about more than just the search for physical youth; it is about rediscovering a childlike joy and the power of the moment. Acrobatics, humour, music and unforgettable images will guide you through a world full of surprises, entertainment and refreshment.
