The Mölzer Kyncl Hilmar 1968–1978 exhibition extended until September 27!
Still haven’t found the time to visit the exhibition Mölzer Kyncl Hilmar 1968–1978? Or did it so captivate you that you want to see it again? Now’s your opportunity – we have extended the exhibition until 27 September 2026. Covering an important decade in the work of artists Milan Mölzer, František Kyncl and Jiří Hilmar, the exhibition is the first to look at these three artists’ production within the context of their life stories and exile experience. Visitors can see important as well as lesser known works on loan from Czech and foreign exhibitions: large-scale paintings, works on paper, reliefs and object art. Also on display are unique archival materials, including diary entries by František Kyncl that provide insight into the personal and creative world of one of the exhibiting artists.
The GASK Learning Centre organised several art workshops in conjunction with Mölzer Kyncl Hilmar 1968–1978, at which participating children enjoyed days filled with creativity, inspiration and experimentation. Our thanks go to everyone – children and adults alike – who visited our NON/CAMP, and to our excellent volunteers as well. We would also like to thank the Skleník bistro and the Turistka restaurant for providing refreshments and snacks.
At the gallery shop, you can choose from exhibition-related merch, including stylish t-shirts and a beautiful catalogue of works by the three artists. All items are available at the GASK SHOP or online.
