The subject of Lukáš Machalický’s exhibition is the creation of a site-specific installation in the Printmaking Crossovers exhibition space at the former Jesuit College. In his exhibitions, Machalický creates works that straddle the boundaries between architecture, sculpture and object art while addressing themes related to urbanism, architecture and social memory in the place in question. The installation at GASK responds to the given situation and creates a new one through which the artist reflects on today’s eclectic era.
